Mascara time! It’s been a while since I’ve done a make-up review – but I’m hoping that Covergirl’s Lashblast Volume mascara makes up for it.
If you’ve read my Lash Blast Fusion review, you’ll know that Covergirl is one of my favourite mascara brands – hands down. It’s affordable and effective – and that’s what I go for when I want my lashes to look bigger and better. Since you can only use mascara for a couple of months, I usually find it a waste to spend more than € 25. Budget, it is.
So if you’re looking for an affordable option, Covergirl is your… girl? They have a wide range of mascara formulas – all packaged in their signature bright and flashy tubes. Lash Blast – the orange one of the family – might be the most well-known. I remember my sister Anne bringing me one home from the US over 10 years ago – and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Covergirl’s Lash Blast Volume mascara comes in a bright neon tube and has the signature Lash Blast wand. It’s thick – a little bulky even – and has tiny comb-like bristles that coat every lash. The hypoallergenicformula adds instant volume without irritating your eyes.
What can I say? I’m a sucker for Covergirl. The Lash Blast Volume easily coats your lashes and adds buildablevolume that doesn’t look over the top. For me, it’s the perfect everyday mascara. And at nighttime, it comes off easily using micellar water.
If you’re in the U.S., you’ll find Lash Blast Volume for 5 to 7 USD. If you’re in Belgium like me: Delhaize used to stock these, but I haven’t seen them in a while. Amazon is a good option, and sometimes you’ll luck out on bol.com. Keep your eyes peeled!
