FOTD: Sweet Peach

Too Faced‘s Sweet Peach eyedshadow palette was a very kind gift from my very kind sister Anne. I’ve written a full review on this peachy beauty back in October (find it here!) and promised a #FOTD. We’re a few (three) months later (and have entered the next decade) but here goes.

The #FOTD

Truth be told I did take these pictures in the previous decade – and because of that, I have forgotten what the occasion of this #FOTD was. But as seen above, I used the Sweet Peach palette on my eyes and kept other things quite simple. One thing I do remember, is that the shades took a while to blend. Personally, I feel like things still look a lil patchy in the picture above.

Nonetheless, things look good in this one. I might need to give this one a go with a eye shadow primer underneath and see if that helps blending-wise.

Shades I used were Peaches ‘N Cream as a base, Puree mixed with Summer Yum in the crease, Luscious in the inner third of the eyelid and tempting as a liner.

Overall, not too shabby. I stand by my point that this palette contains a beautiful selection of shades that really do pair well together. However, these aren’t the easiest to blend. Will I continue to use these? Yup. Will I take an extra minute with the blending brush to smooth things out next time? Definitely.

The price

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette retails for $ 49/€ 49,90. Read the full review here.
