REVIEW: Nivea – 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask +Purify

Finding affordable skincare that actually does what it says can be tricky – but it doesn’t have to be when you know where to look. Nivea has become a go-to destination for budget-friendly face masks, their 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask +Purify being a prime example.

Talking about hoping for a one-minute miracle. Nivea launched this 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask +Purify, a quick and easy treatment that is supposed to detoxify your skin in no time. I don’t live in a very urban environment, but I’m always happy to try cleansing treatments. Especially if said treatments are budget-friendly and work lightning fast.

How to use: apply this minty green substance all over your face and let it do its thing for 60 seconds – that’s all. Easy does it, right? It’s also possible to apply the mask locally, if you’re into multimasking or if you want to be careful with the amount of product you use. I like to apply this one when I get back from my CrossFit workouts. I tend to work out after work and head to the gym with a full face of make-up, so my skin usually takes a beating. When I get home, I cleanse my face and apply this mask before I take a bath. After just one minute, I rinse this one off, using circular motions to give my skin a subtle scrubbing session as well.

The result? A cleansed skin that feels almost squeaky clean. Afterwards, I apply a nourishing cream (Nivea’s Urban Skin range has some great ones, too) to leave my skin feeling clean, nourished and overall happy. Call me a fan.
