REVIEW: Nivea – 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Moisturise

Finding affordable skincare that actually does what it says can be tricky – but it doesn’t have to be when you know where to look. Nivea has recently expanded their face mask range and I had the opportunity to try one of their latest additions: the 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Hydrate. Who’s excited?

Where Nivea already offers a 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Purify and a 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine, they’ve recently added a hydrating formula to the range. The Nivea 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Hydrate is the newest addition the ‘Urban Skin’ family, which promises to protect the skin from damaging effects caused by pollution and the urban city life.

This hydrating formula is enriched with antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and organic green tea extracts. It’s best to apply the mask on a cleansed face, while staying clear from the eyes and lips. It should only take one minute for this mask to perform its magic. One!

The mask itself is a rather thick cream that is transparent when applied onto the face. It feels very comfortable on the skin, but it can be difficult to detect whether you’ve rinsed it off completely. I like to use a gentle cleansing foam after using this product, just to be sure my skin is a 100% clean.

Prices & Availability

My face feels hydrated after one go, but not all dry patches are gone. I think it’ll take regular applications to see the full benefits of this budget friendly mask. Nivea’s 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Hydrate is available in most drugstores and some supermarkets for € 6,99 (75 ml).
