Finding affordable skincare that actually does what it says can be tricky – but it doesn’t have to be when you know where to look. Nivea has recently expanded their face mask range and I had the opportunity to try one of their latest additions: the 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine. Bring. It. On.
The 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine by Nivea is one of the latest additions to the 1 Minute Urban Detox Range, that now offers a purifying, a hydrating and now this pore refining formula. We’ll get to the hydrating one in one of my following posts – stay tuned if you’re interested in budget friendly ways to pamper your skin.
This face mask is supposed to refine your pores and should do so thanks to its self-heating formula that is enriched with magnolia extract. The fun thing about this range of masks is that it is designed with a busy schedule in mind: the new formulas should only take one minute to perform their magic detox. That’s all – there’s no need to wait around with this one.
The translucent-gel formula should be applied onto wet skin. After, just gently rub it to ensure you’re reaping all of its benefits. Upon application, I noticed the formula did feel warm, although my boyfriend (not-so-voluntary volunteer of the day) didn’t feel a thing. After a minute, you can rinse it off with water. My skin did feel good, but I didn’t notice a dramatic difference. It’s not a one-stop wonder, but it is a fun and quick pamper session for when you don’t have hours to spend in the bathroom. Combine it with a nourishing conditioner and dub your morning shower a true sunrise spa session.
Nivea’s 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine is available in most drugstores and some supermarkets for € 6,99 (75 ml).
